Travel With Kids

The Ultimate Life Education Experience

Show your children the world

so they may care for it

Travel with children is a gift – for both children and family.

To see the world through young eyes is both healing and inspiring.

We have offered each of our children the opportunity to celebrate the end of their primary school years with travel anywhere in the world. There are only two rules: they take one parent with them, and they must fund their side of the travel themselves.

It’s not easy for a 12-year-old to travel on the savings of pocket money. Instead, we encouraged the kids to find a skill to pay the way. Fortunately for them, they love music. Busking has been a great opportunity for both coin and company–they have met many wonderful people along the way!

Going for Galapagos

At 12-years of age, our eldest child travelled to the Galapagos Islands, fueled by his passion for busking and marine conservation. Chaperoned by his father, he saved every dollar thrown in his trumpet case and researched exactly how to travel responsibly to the most iconic destination for any marine biologist. Destination Denmark

Inspired by his older brother, our middle child dreamed of his own adventure to Denmark and up to Norway. Originally, he planned to travel in December 2020. Then COVID-19 hit, affecting his busking and his ability to travel. However, Noah was determined to make it in Dec 2021. As soon as he was allowed to travel, he was on the first plane to Billund, Denmark for LEGO and then North to Norway to chase the Northern Lights.

Chirping Cellos

It started with a question: Are Axolotls real? Yes, they are! But they are endangered in the wild. Axolotls are only naturally found in two lakes in Mexico. And Zaria is determined to find them! Zaria is now busking with her cello, saving her money for a trip to Mexico with her dad. Conservation, science, history, culture, and food are all vying for her attention. Top it off with a stopover for surfing in Hawaii (it’s on the way).

The destination is never simply ‘a holiday spot’. This is their first taste of travel independence. They choose the location. They choose the reason. They earn the money.

This is important to them.
